CopyToN was designed with the mindset of how do I duplicate my DCPs for distribution. But CopyToN can also be used for backup purposes.

Performance wise, CopyToN will definitely be faster than the standard os tools, because it reads the source only once and writes it multiple times. You can define how many threads CopyToN should use. The hashes for the source files are calculated while reading. To be able to copy as fast as possible, we do the verification of the destinations only after all files are copied. This allows to skip the verification, but still have all files copied and should be faster on USB drives (no read/write operations at the same time).
